President’s Perspective
| "And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation." Psalms 35 9 (KJV) Yea! Summer is here. Let us rejoice and take a vacation from school. It's time to recharge the batteries and maybe get out of town for a while. We hope all of your families have plans for a joyful summer. SCCHE has some good ideas for this next school year. We are planning to add some extra Park Days for people who are busy on Fridays. We are setting up a new Family Fun Day in October - a pancake breakfast in the park! And, of course, we will continue to make childcare available while parents enjoy interesting speakers at our Mix & Mingle meetings. Keep an eye on the loop and newsletter for details. The parents' orientation meeting will be on August 3rd. Come and register in person and check out the tables with info about SCCHE and outside programs. The Back-to-School Workshop will be August 14th.We hope you will plan to attend and get the school year started off with a bang. Your servants in Christ, George and Dee |

Students can have their portraits taken and submitted to the SCCHE Yearbook free of charge. Students can also have identification cards printed for a reasonable fee. Of course, Nesossi also offers reasonably priced portrait packages. So take advantage of the convenience and consider getting that long overdue family portrait done while the kids are groomed and smiling. This year's Student Portrait Days will be October 25-29. Sign-up for appointments will be available at the Parents' Orientation Meeting on August 3rd, and at the Back-to-School Workshop on August 14th. |
