Guidelines for the use of the SCCHE Online Services
Please read, understand, and adhere to these guidelines before using SCCHE online services. - The online services are for current adult members of SCCHE only.

, the message will be routed to all members who have joined the loop.
- Be courteous. Once the message is sent, there is no way to retrieve it. There is no such thing as a temporary email message. (You may want to visit the SCCHE EMail Etiquette page for more information on "good" email habits.)
- Subscribing an email account id other than your own individual account id is not permitted. Multiple email account ids that you own (e.g. your office and/or your home) may be subscribed.
- Appropriate uses for the online services include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Personal curriculum or other Home School related items for sale
- Home School questions you would like to post to a broad audience
- Home School activities in the community not listed in the Newsletter
- Inappropriate uses for the online services include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Forwarding Internet Hoaxes or information that may be false that you have not personally verified. Remember, anybody can "sound" like an expert on the Internet. If you are forwarding something, that means you are personally vouching for that message.
- Selling commercial items not related to Home Schooling
- Chain mail messages, even if they "sound" like they are for a good cause
- Sending inappropriate messages, photos, news items, or anything that is not "G" rated and acceptable to a broad range of members; children and adults
- Highly discouraged uses of the include:
- Advertising your personal business or services
- Political campaigning
- Test messages to see if the Loop is operating correctly
- The gathering, selling, or giving away personal information about users or members is not permitted for any purpose other than replying to the messages posted. Personal information includes but is not limited to names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postal addresses and other contact information.
- Mirroring, reposting, or archiving the messages on any public site is not permitted without the written permission of SCCHE Executive Council.
- Unauthorized advertising and/or selling are not allowed by commercial vendors.This pertains to unsolicited promotional announcements for products and services including announcements of "freebies" by any commercial vendor.
- SCCHE provides online services a benefit to its members only; abuse may result in a suspension of privileges. When you sign up for the service, you will be verified against the current SCCHE membership directory.
- Opinions expressed are not necessarily those of SCCHE or the SCCHE Executive Council.
- The SCCHE Webmaster has final authority in the operation of the SCCHE onilne services. Subscribers have the responsibility of reading all messages posted by the SCCHE Webmaster (SCCHE Webmaster).
